We are Liam and Kerry, and along with Tommy the Patterdale Terrier, deliver coal, smokeless fuels, calor gas, diesel and other boating consumables along the Bridgewater Canal, trading under the name of Midlands & Coast Canal Carriers.

We initially began trading under the name of Longford Canal Services in September 2010. In June 2018, an opportunity arose to acquire the original company name which Ariel began working for in 1935 and so rebranded our operations to suit.

Operating throughout the year, and if unable to get to you due to stoppages or being frozen in will endeavour to deliver your order by road. You are also welcome to come and collect any supplies with prior arrangement from our base at Preston Brook Wharf.

We can also carry out unattended deliveries as we accept debit and credit card payments in person and over the phone. Payment by cash, cheque and BACS is also available.
