We are based and operate on the historic Bridgewater Canal where we provide a regular, reliable and friendly delivery service.
The Bridgewater Canal is 40 miles in length and runs from Runcorn and Preston Brook in Cheshire through to Leigh near Wigan with a branch arm going into Deansgate Castlefield in Manchester City Centre.
Unfortunately, as of 1st January 2025, following the huge breach in Little Bollington, near Lymm, the canal has now effectively been cut in half. Because of this, we’re pleased to say that Bellatrix has been loaned to us once again and has taken over the northern stretch of the canal, running from Leigh towards Manchester and Altrincham, whilst Ariel is based from Preston Brook and carrying out deliveries to Runcorn and Lymm.
Deliveries are scheduled fortnightly in the colder months, usually from September to April, between Leigh to Preston Brook and Runcorn. During the summer months we operate on a three-weekly schedule.
